ALL Secretaries and Treasurer's are encouraged to attend.

One per Chapter is expected!

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

THIS IS THE DAY the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

The "dog days of summer" are upon us! Just think, in a few months we will be complaining because of the cold!

I hope your annual meetings have gone well and that you have elected the necessary officers to lead your Chapters in 2017!

Some of you are holding Chapter meetings in July and August, as you recess in the winter months. Enjoy the fellowship of your sisters and brothers.

About 150 of us will be boarding buses and traveling to Springfield, IL, Branson, MO, and St. Louis the week of July 25. We will be sending pictures to our webmaster Carol for posting. Hope you will be able to enjoy the trip second-hand with us!

On August 10, our Associate Grand Matron Michelle and Associate Grand Patron Bill will begin sharing their plans at the annual State District Association meeting. Those who are eligible to attend, please do so and enjoy this special day!

Don't forget to get your reservations in for the various events at Grand Chapter in Dayton, September 23-25. THIS IS YOUR GRAND CHAPTER AND WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION!

We are still raising funds for our iN2L (It's Never Too Late) project. I would ask that you and your Chapter consider making a donation to this project. We were able to see the system in action at Home Day. The possibilities are endless! It's never too late for you to donate!

OES Home day was held on June 26 and was well attended. We had the opportunity to tour one of the new neighborhoods! WOW! The elders will be right "at home" in "their home". Donations are still needed for the capital campaign, please donate as you are able. With a $300.00 donation, you become a piece of the "Million Dollar Circle".

I look forward to seeing you "on the trail" in the next few weeks!

In friendship and service,

Worthy Grand Matron

These computer systems will allow our elders at the OES Home to be engaged, active and to PARTICIPATE in Connection with Family and Friends, Entertainment (games, puzzles and read to name a few of the things it offers), Therapy and Fitness, Mental Stimulation and Spiritual Support.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000. This will allow for the purchase of four systems, one for each of the 4 new neighborhoods. The more money raised, the more options that can be added to the system and programs; allowing for more opportunities for our elders at the home.
