Here we are back with a new year of activities and events!

December 2018

The Chapter is also helping the Cory-Rawson High School Business Classes collect "dead dried up" markers. The Students are supporting the Crayola Color Cycle that recycles these markers and changes them into fuel. This is their community service project this year. 600 pounds of markers creates approximately 63 gallons of diesel fuel!

Santa took time out of his busy schedule to visit on December 23rd.
He brought treats for the kiddos. members brought cookies, cocoa, and coffee was guests to enjoy!

Our December meeting brought lots of fun!
Christmas attire, sharing Christmas Memories, playing Christmas Carol Charades, and helping an area mother and her four children
with groceries and gift cards!~

Cory-Rawson High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meeting. Sister Ruth Ann our secretary and Becky Bucher attended. Our Chapter is supporting this group with food throughout the year for them to enjoy during their early morning meetings … or if they need a pick me up during the day!~

To kick things off, we were in the Bluffton Holiday Parade.
Great public relations event for our Masons and Stars.
Some grandkids shared in the fun, too!

This is a "wrap" for the 2018 year! Stay tuned for 2019!

November 2018

Our Chapter is supporting a local school's group called Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Members have donated paper items, drinks, snacks, and monetary donations to assist teachers who support the group with breakfast before the meetings! The group meets twice a month before school and it is youth lead with a teacher(s) in attendance for support. Some of our members have attended meetings as well. While it says "athletes", any student may attend. Recently, on student accepted Christ in his life!

Served our Masons with a tasty Election Night Meal!
Oyster soup, steak sandwiches, relishes, chips, and desserts!

October 2018

We are helping an area Rainbow Girls group by supporting their endeavor
to collect bottle caps for Special Olympics!

We started the month by co-hosting with the aid of our Masonic Lodge
a First Responders Appreciation Meal for area firemen and their families!

Busy month! Our first meeting was a Friendship Night and a
Surprise 60th Anniversary Party and Card Shower

Steve Horton, our Chaplain, was honored for his exemplary work this year
by our DGM Annie Rumor.

Our second meeting was Telling Tales ( do not tell lies from our Veggie Tales Devo book) and we had a Halloween Party as well as our officers party! Our costume winners were Patti Askins and Marilyn Wymer. Our WP Jerry and our Secretary Ruth were honored for their "spook-tacular" work in preparing an excellent meal for the officers as well as other members!~

September 2018

Our second meeting this month was themed Honesty is the Best Policy and centered on being an honest and kind person.

On our first meeting this month we held a Tailgate Party Sports Night! Members wore their favorite sports team apparel and brought tailgate party foods to share! We had a Football Sports Trivia Competition after the meeting with Rita Follas and Mike Wilson being declared the sports buffs! We are also supporting a local high school with their Fellowship of Christian Athletes which meets twice a month with food, paper items, and attending their meetings when possible as they meet at 7:10 a.m. before school starts!
