Have you ever thought, “How Can I do more for my Community, become involved with an organization that works to provide aide to Charities?” Your Membership in The Order of the Eastern Star provides that avenue by planning activities and events for you to participate in as an individual or as a group.

We have experienced that many of our Members participate for the socialization that our Chapters provide. We not only meet monthly for business meetings, but it is important to plan dining outs, picnics, dances and many other family related events.

Provide planned activities that could impact your surrounding community and add comradery for the Members of your Chapters. Promote individual members to volunteer in our hospitals, help out with the Children’s Learning Centers, sew goods for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, and participate in Walk-a-thons for Cancer, Heart, Parkinson’s Research and many more. We not only strive to assist financially but give human involvement to make a difference. This is our way to impact our community and at the same time providing time for our Members to work together for a common goal and share with our Masonic Brothers in learning the principles of brotherly love, relief and truth and to comfort and protect each other.

Have you ever heard the old saying, “You only get out of what you put into it”? Your involvement is the key to the success of your Chapter.

Ask yourself the question, why did I choose to become a Member? Let this be your guide on keeping your Chapters active and at the same time, providing an opportunity to introduce this beautiful organization to others who would consider joining in on a worthwhile cause and at the same time have fun! In this section you will find many different activities, meeting suggestions and ways that will enable you to accept the challenge of helping our Order to be the best that we can be. You will find them fun, engaging and spiritually rewarding.
