Kenneth B. Scott Ritual Competition

Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Since the ritual competition at Grand Chapter for the last ten years were such a success, we are going to have another one this year and I am happy to say that the format will be the same as last year.  The Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Kelly, has asked me to chair the competition this year due to the passing of my dad, PGP, Ken Scott. This competition will now be called The Kenneth B. Scott Ritual Competition.  Any sister can do 1 (one) Star Point. If you have been a Grand Star Point or a previous first place winner,
you will have to register as a different Star Point. Also, any brother can register to do the Associate Patron (short form) lecture. Any sister or brother can do all three Chaplain Prayers. They do not sign up for just
one prayer; they will be doing all three prayers. Again, if a sister or brother has been a Grand Officer or was a first place winner for that part in the past, they cannot compete for the same office.
Deadline for registration is August 1, 2019. We will NOT BE holding instructional meeting for Star Points this year. All of the information will be emailed to you with your time and instructions for competition. The competition will be held on Thursday, September 26th. Your time again will be assigned according to the distance traveled.
I look forward to seeing many of you at this year’s competition. AWARDS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th AT THE AFTERNOON SESSION AFTER THE REPORT OF THE HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE. ALL COMPETITORS ARE TO SIT BEHIND THE CONDUCTRESS
STATION PRIOR TO THE AWARDS.
The competition will take place on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th DURING THE DAY at KALAHARI.
Sincerely,
Crissy Willeke
